LED ZEPPELIN, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, HELLYEAH First-Week Sales Revealed
November 21, 2007"Mothership", a 24-track, two-CD comprehensive collection that spans LED ZEPPELIN's illustrious career, has sold 136,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 7 on The Billboard 200 chart.
"Mothership" contains material from all eight of the band's classic studio albums, with the tracks being personally selected by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones. "Mothership" includes landmark songs such as "Whole Lotta Love", "Immigrant Song", "Kashmir", "Rock And Roll", "Dazed And Confused", "Stairway to Heaven". The set also includes new liner notes.

In other SoundScan news, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's new album, "Ire Works", registered a first-week U.S. tally of 6,900 to land at No. 142 on The Billboard 200.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN will begin touring in support of "Ire Works", on December 1 along with A LIFE ONCE LOST and GENGHIS TRON. This North American tour will make up for the band's previously announced headlining tour that the group was forced to postpone due to an injury in the band.

Also on the SoundScan front, HELLYEAH's live DVD, "Below the Belt", shifted 2,300 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release to enter Billboard's Top Music Video chart at No. 23. The disc contains footage going back to the formation of the band, including the group's first recording session, the making of its self-titled debut album and various stops on the group's ongoing world tour, as well as personal interviews and other features. The two-hour DVD also includes videos, backstage clips, footage from the band's April record release party and a look inside Chasin' Jason, the studio once owned by late PANTERA guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott where HELLYEAH recorded.
